Scholarships The Anapra Education Project raises funds to help families in Anapra, MX defray the cost of public education. We are especially interested in generating funds to help the youth in Anapra attend high school and the university. As Cristina and the students have become more successful in their work, more students are progressing to higher levels of education. In the past, one would expect that most children would stop their education at the elementary level while some would move onto the middle school. It would be rare for a student to go to high school and unthinkable for them to go onto the university. That has now changed, given the financial assistance, tutoring, and mentoring offered by El Buen Pastor. For example, in 2007-2008, five of Cristina’s students are currently enrolled in the university, and all are doing well. The more successful El Buen Pastor is, the greater the costs will be, and we want to help young people in Anapra progress to higher levels of education. Thanks to your faithful support of our students in Anapra, we now have six at the university and twenty-nine in senior high school. We have over two hundred between middle and primary school. The costs for fees, books, uniforms, materials, etc. are listed below as well as a monthly amount to cover the annual costs: ♣ Elementary - $200 annually or $17 per month ♣ Middle school - $350 annually or $30 per month ♣ High school - $600 annually or $50 per month ♣ University - $700 annually or $60 per month We hope you can help defray these educational costs by making a donation to support the scholarship fund. One hundred percent (100%) of your contribution goes directly to reduce the cost of education for the more than 250 children cared for by The Anapra Education Project
